This is a newly created role due to company growth, offering a unique opportunity to build and refine processes from the ground up. The position is highly strategic, partnering across supply chain, operations, and finance. You will be tasked with improving and implemented costing policies and procedures.
  • Oversee all aspects of cost accounting, including variance analysis, inventory costing, and margin analysis.
  • Evaluate current costing processes and systems and implement improvements as needed.
  • Serve as a key business partner to operations, logistics, and supply chain teams.
  • Support month-end activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Leverage SAP S/4HANA to ensure accuracy of inventory and cost data.
  • Provide insights on standard vs. actual costing models and recommend structural changes.

  • 5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Strong working knowledge of inventory valuation, cost analysis, and U.S. GAAP
  • Experience in standard costing and financial reporting
  • Ability to build systems and processes from scratch
  • Advanced Excel skills; SAP S/4HANA experience preferred
