  • Take ownership of the processes for continuous operations of wastewater treatment plants, fume incinerators, commercial liquids and solids incinerators, distillation columns, and bulk tanks in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Develop preventative maintenance plans and critical spare parts inventory to ensure reliability of equipment.
  • Design processes and implement process improvements incorporating safety, quality, operability, efficiency and reliability. Author change controls and own change implementation steps.
  • Monitor processes and proactively address issues. Provide technical support as needed.
  • Lead deviation investigations. Propose and implement effective corrective and preventative actions.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Stay current on GMP and environmental regulations, engineering standards, policies and procedures, and good engineering practices.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams, operations, support staff, and internal and external customers.
REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in the field of engineering or commensurate experience required with minimum 3 years of experience * Knowledge of core process engineering disciplines such as mixing, material science, heat transfer, mass transfer, reactivity, combustion principles, and process safety management.
  • Knowledge of cGMP or heavily regulated operations preferred.
  • Demonstrated technical, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to successfully overcome challenges and identify opportunities for improvement independently and in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to contribute to a positive, productive work environment and lead a group of people towards a set of common objectives without having direct supervisory responsibility
  • Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office, SAP.
  • DeltaV (or other similar automation system) is nice to have
  • Able to work in a high noise/high temperature environment, indoors or outdoors in all weather conditions. Available to be on call 24/7/365.
