The Sagamore Gift Shop & Boutique is looking for a motivated associate to join our team! With brands like Lilly Pulitzer, Lululemon, Under Armour, Sugarfina and Yeti, The Sagamore Resort offers to our guests a wonderful shopping experience both in our main store located inside the hotel and at our Lake Store that sits on the water overlooking Lake George. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greet guests, provide them with courteous service
  • Answer questions concerning location, price & use of merchandise.
  • Responsible for having gift shop open and operating at a predetermined time. (Lights on, products properly staged, and daily papers on display.)
  • Keeps shelves, counters and table clean & orderly (clothing neatly folding, etc.)
  • Cashier functions including accepting payments and making change
  • Bags merchandise for guests, wraps as requested
  • Keeps record of sales, removes cash at end of shift, and keeps an accurate bank at all times
  • Responsible for mailing & shipping products ordered over the phone
  • Rotate date-sensitive stock
  • Assists supervisor in monthly and yearly inventory counts
  • Must be available weekends and holidays
  • Must be able able to lift up to 50lbs, bend,lift,and carry large
  • Part time or full time, seasonal
