Description :What You'll Do:
  • Support Registered Nurses by providing direct and indirect patient care.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal care, baths, and comfort measures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
  • Collect and record patient data such as vital signs, weights, intake and output measurements, and blood glucose levels.
  • Report patient observations and findings to the Registered Nurse promptly.
  • Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Demonstrate behaviors aligned with Memorial’s core values: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Service.
What You'll Bring:
  • Recent experience in providing direct patient care or completion of a nursing assistant class.
  • State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
  • Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Strong attention to detail in documentation and patient care tasks.
  • Dedication to upholding ethical standards and professional integrity.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing patient needs and healthcare protocols.
