- Lead installation, configuration, and maintenance of Cisco network devices (routers, switches) and Palo Alto firewalls
- Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure high availability and efficient resource usage
- Diagnose and resolve complex network issues including connectivity, security, and performance bottlenecks
- Apply patches, updates, and security configurations to network devices to maintain a secure environment
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network solutions with systems and applications
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior network administrators and IT staff
- Architect network infrastructure, including secure baseline configurations, implementation plans, and service deployments
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for Layer 2/3, wireless, VoIP, data center, and SDN Research emerging network technologies and assess their applicability and value to the organization
- Perform hardware installations and configuration support in on-prem data center environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- CCIE certification, or at least 10 years of experience in LAN/WAN, wireless, VoIP, data center, SDN administration, engineering, and architecture
- Proven expertise with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and network protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs)
- Experience managing Palo Alto firewall configurations and security policies
- Skilled in diagnosing and resolving complex network security, connectivity, and performance issues
- Strong documentation and analytical skills, with ability to architect and implement enterprise solutions
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and hybrid architecture
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center)
- Certifications such as CCNP or cloud‑related network certifications
- Proven history of mentoring staff and leading complex network initiatives
