Ultimately, the role of the Development Consultant is to expand our client base and increase our shelter services portfolio.Responsibilities
- Developing growth strategies and plans
- Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
- Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
- Following industry trends locally and internationally
- Drafting and reviewing contracts
- Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
- Negotiating with stakeholders
- Networking with industry professionals and potential clients to drive brand awareness
- Arranging business meetings with prospective clients
- Promoting the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Proven experience in business development or a related field
- Experience in sales, marketing, or related field
- Strong communication skills and IT fluency
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
- BSc degree in Business, Marketing or related field
