- Data Reconciliation: Perform/Review daily, monthly, and ad-hoc reconciliations of accounts, transactions, and balances between internal financial systems and external sources (e.g., bank statements, investment records, vendor reports).
- Variance Analysis: Identify and investigate discrepancies in financial data, analyze root causes, and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely resolution with internal and external stakeholders
- Control Oversight: Maintain and enforce controls, ensuring data accuracy and review of defined controls
- Collaboration: Work closely with India team and client operation teams to resolve issues and improve process efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline reconciliation and control processes. Recommend and implement best practices to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and control measures.
- Compliance and Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing reconciliation records, documentation, and insights on process controls.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in a reconciliation, financial control, or similar finance-related role is a plus
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables). Experience with reconciliation tools is a plus.
