- Perform necessary due diligence on Financial Advisor recruits to ensure new hires are consistent with RBC standards and expectations. Provide key communication on the recruits to internal partners.
- Organize, review, process new hire paperwork, obtain necessary approvals and generate employment contracts. Maintain complete and orderly files pertaining to financial advisor, Branch Director and Branch Network Director recruiting activity.
- Develop a consulting partnership with field leadership and educate complex management teams on best practices and available resources to ensure a smooth FA hiring process
- Initiate and track Corporate Owned Life Insurance policies and request payment on insurance premiums.
- Ensure payments are completed after hire date of new recruits
- Maintain and support Advisor Recruiting policies and guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities
- High degree of attention to detail along with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Very strong customer service orientation including the ability to effectively and professionally work with all levels of employees
- Ability to work effectively in situations involving rapid change, shifting priorities, and/or simultaneous demands.
- Ability to ask critical questions, anticipate problems/future needs and take ownership
- 4-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent OR High school diploma or equivalent AND 2+ years of finance and/or job specific industry experience.
- Fully proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Salesforce experience
- Legal writing experience
- Series 7, SIE and series 66 licenses
