Senior Engineer Manager"Got what it takes to lead? Senior Engineer Manager role awaits!"We're currently seeking an Experienced Senior Engineering Manager to join our team. This professional will be tasked with overseeing personnel management, development, and supervision within the Engineering Group. Responsibilities cover managing engineering staff, coordinating field operations, project management, and providing technical support and consulting services. Key duties entail composing proposals, preparing budgets, and conducting final review (QA/QC) of work products. Receives guidance from Project/Senior Managers across service areas, reporting directly to the Managing Principal of Technical Services.Role:
  • Supervise the Engineering Group's operations, including task allocation, quality review, and fostering professional growth.
  • Foster collaboration with various departments (Data, Geology, Field Operations, and Report Writing) to accomplish collective objectives.
  • Assess project requirements, delegate tasks efficiently, and oversee task execution within the Engineering Group.
  • Lead the administration of engineering projects.
  • Develop, review, and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Contribute to both short- and long-term strategic planning initiatives.
  • Identify, coach, and mentor Engineering and Technical Services team members to ensure successful project completion.
  • Analyze existing regulations and guidance, collaborating with consultants to devise compliance strategies for engineered systems.
  • Customize in situ remediation strategies to address specific site conditions and types of contaminants.
  • Evaluate the efficiency of remedial systems and optimize their performance based on collected data.
  • Compile necessary documentation, data, and reports to prepare and submit permit applications to regulatory agencies.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and the exploration of new revenue streams.
  • Thorough understanding of air, water, soil, and hazardous materials regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
  • Serve as the client's liaison with regulatory agencies at federal, state, and local levels.
Requirementsfor Senior Engineer Manager:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • 7+ yrs in Environmental Engineering
  • Certifications: Maintain recognized signatory credentials (e.g., LPG, CHMM, PE) in relevant states
  • Strong verbal and written communication; personnel management experience preferred
