Our client is a well-established healthcare provider serving communities across Kentucky since for over 20 years. They are seeking a Mammogram Technologist to join their dedicated team. This position plays a critical role in delivering high-quality mammographic imaging services and supporting early detection efforts in women's health.Position Summary
The Mammogram Technologist will perform both screening and diagnostic mammograms in accordance with ACR and FDA guidelines. The role requires a patient-centered approach, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians, radiologists, and clinical staff.Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms per regulatory standards
- Educate and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate mammography equipment and ensure optimal image quality
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient workflow and excellent patient care
- Conduct quality control checks on equipment and report maintenance issues
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols
- Provide compassionate, professional care to all patients
- Perform additional duties as needed to support clinic operations
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist
- CPR certification (required)
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency with computers and EHR systems
- Strong communication, time management, and adaptability skills
