Integrated Talent Strategies is looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative with a background in industrial instrumentation products to join one of our client's teams in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the application and technical support of products such as, but not limited to, process gauges, industrial thermometers, limit switches, meters, level instruments, safety sensors, and controls. Our Inside Sales team directly supports our external customers and internally by assisting in all aspects of the successful input and completion of quotes, orders, and application support.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process customer quotes, orders and provide technical support for distributor and products
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal employees regarding, but not limited to, pricing, order status, tracking information, order revisions, and technical support
  • Accurately process purchase orders to various vendors to satisfy customer order requirements
  • Be comfortable working with various computer, email, and phone applications, such as Microsoft Teams, and willingness to learn our ERP - Infor SXe, and our CRM - Tour de Force
  • Have a strong capacity for multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced environment, display high levels of punctuality and dependability, and possess excellent attention to detail
  • Be both a self-starter and a team player
  • Work well with others
  • Other projects and responsibilities assigned by management
General Knowledge Requirements:
  • Exhibit solid pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical aptitude
  • Demonstrate technical competence with temperature, pressure, and level instruments, including product application, within industrial process facilities
  • Ability to work with and show proficiency with numbers (prices, part numbers, account numbers, etc.)
Education & Experience:
  • Previous inside sales or technical support experience in an industrial distribution or instrumentation manufacturer
  • Bachelor's degree or technical certificate in a chemical, electrical, or mechanical-related field is a plus, but not required
  • Experience with Infor Distribution SXe and Tour de Force CRM is a plus
