We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.Organization Overview:This opening is in the Distribution Warehouse, which is responsible for order processing functions such as picking, packing, and shipping pharmaceutical orders to sales reps, wholesalers, and retailers.Distribution Technicians typically rotate through a variety of roles related to performing these functions.Location: Plainfield Distribution Center- Plainfield, Indiana, reports to theSupervisor of Distribution Operations.Position Responsibilities:Pick and pack customer orders. This includes interaction with thewarehouse management system via a handheld RF device. Material ispicked by using RF device to scan product license plate. Validatedpacking requirements must be followed precisely. When pick/packfunction is complete, order is weight checked to verify accuracy. Ordersare consolidated by license plate to ship units. Packing list and shiplabel are printed and included with shipment.Responsible for complying with FDA and OSHA requirements.Responsible for ensuring that all training identified in his/her individualtraining plan (ITP) is current and completeConstantly look for improvements in productivity, compliance, and data accuracy.Basic Requirements:Must have a high school degree or equivalent1-3 yrs. warehouse experience is required.Additional Skills/Preferences:Experience working with an electronic warehouse management system. Such as SAP, Exacta, Worldlink and RF scannersDemonstrated accuracy and attention to detailsMust be flexible and willing to be cross trained to perform multiple assignmentsMust be willing to work overtime with little noticeMust be reliable and have a good work attendance historyDemonstrated computer skillsDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environmentDemonstrated a high productivity rate in previous assignmentsMust be able to complete basic math, such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. The anticipated wage for this position is $17.30 - $34.38Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
