- Supervising employees and assisting with tasks as necessary
- Managing employees’ requests and transgressions
- Training new and current team members on tasks
- Handling customer issues and managing conflicts.
- Adhering to company policies and health, safety and employment standards
- Balancing cash drawers and preparing cash deposits.
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the shift.
- Ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with other shift leaders and management to ensure smooth operations across all shifts.
- Customer service: Greeting customers, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring customers have a positive experience.
- Cash handling: Handling cash, making change, and processing credit and debit card transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff and customers
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during the shift
