Our client, a reputable healthcare organization, is hiring a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team. With a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient care, they are seeking a talented and motivated individual to fill a critical role.Responsibilities:
  • Provide immediate medical attention for patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries in the emergency department (ER)
  • Conduct thorough assessments, including physical examinations and diagnostic tests, to determine the appropriate course of treatment
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring optimal outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting all patient interactions and treatment protocols
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies
  • Stay current with advancements in emergency medicine practices and protocols
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
  • Completion of postgraduate medical training from a U.S. accredited residency program in Emergency Medicine
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
  • Current, unrestricted New York State license
  • Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or eligibility for registration
  • Active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or eligibility to enroll
  • Excellent communication, bedside manners, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office
  • Visa sponsorship may be considered for this position
