Job Description:The County Materials Family of Companies manufactures and delivers concrete construction products to meet the demand for growing communities. We rely on our talented and dedicated team members to provide reliable products with personalized service.We are seeking an Administrative Assistant for County Materials at our St Louis, MO location.Job Duties:
  • Perform receptionist duties, including answering phones, performing clerical tasks, and general housekeeping
  • Accurately complete data entry and manage daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements
  • Assist the accounting department with data entry as needed
  • Responsible for purchasing and receiving materials
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies
  • Print and prepare documents related to quality control, production (pour packets), and dispatching
  • Responsible for filing, recording, and maintaining records
  • Assist HRBP with drug screens (new hire and post-incident), new hire onboarding processes.
  • Review and prepare employee disciplinary and attendance infractions with Operation Leaders
  • Assist as needed for employee time management
  • Assist the transportation team with communication with customers, writing tickets, etc.
  • Monitors and maintains min/max stocking inventory levels, pre-receiving of orders as required, and investigates problems
  • Records purchases, maintains the database, performs a physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports
  • Resolves purchasing order entry ticket discrepancies.
  • Provide assistance or direction to walk-in customers as needed
  • Facilitate company luncheons
  • Ordering team member apparel
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
Work Environment:
  • Office working environment
  • Outdoor work as needed for inventory
Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting frequently
  • Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds rarely
  • Standing / Walking / Climbing rarely
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in the related field preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft products, including Excel and SharePoint
  • Must be proficient in Excel spreadsheets and workbooks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Positive attitude is a must, pro-active, multi-tasked, self-motivated team player.
