Auto Body TechnicianDeery Collision CenterJob Type: Full-timeWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. In this role, you will repair and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You’ll work on everything from minor dents to major collision damage, ensuring top-quality results and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect vehicles to assess damage and determine repair needs.
  • Perform body repairs, including removing damaged panels, straightening frames, welding, and replacement of parts.
  • Sand, prime, and prepare repaired surfaces for painting.
  • Install and align repaired or replacement parts.
  • Follow repair orders and ensure work is performed efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, estimators, and customers as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in auto body repair preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in auto body repair.
  • Proficient in using auto body tools and equipment.
  • Knowledge of vehicle construction and repair techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • I-CAR or ASE certification.
  • Experience with estimating software or repair planning.
