Travel will not be covered for candidates who do not reside in the Detroit, MI area.This position will assist the market with all physician employment agreements including renewals, acquisitions, and PSA's.Responsibilities:Create, maintain, and track renewal contracts and expirations for all physicians; maintaining a contract portfolio.Gathers information from the physician and the associate directors to put together renewal packages.Initiates the development of requests for physician employment (RFPE).Will work closely with finance on proforma development.Will monitor the need for fair market value (FMV) assessments; and work with the valuators on all FMV requests and follow up. Outline and present pipeline submissions with detailed contractual items. Ensure pipeline presentation is ready to present to meet deadlines for submissions with all applicable documents.For acquisitions or new physicians, they will work closely with recruitment to align efforts and ensure steps are communicated. Gather all pertinent documentation needed to support an offer to a candidate, including checking references.Responsible for providing management with the information necessary to make decisions regarding negotiations.Will work closely with contracts administrator to ensure offers and contracts are progressing. Provides strategic oversight to physician recruitment activities including physician contracting and market expansion analyses.Will establish and foster relationships with physicians and increasing communication during the contracting process.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Business Finance, or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.Two years of experience with physician contracting is required.Experience with the development of business plans and/or financial analysis in the health care environment is preferred.Tenet Healthcare/TPR complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
