  • Each project has a duration of approximately 20 months.
  • Project goal is to close claims as quickly and economically as possible applying established procedures/guidelines.
  • Each project has specific measurable goals that must be achieved.
This role includes:
  • Reviewing multi-jurisdiction claim activity based upon industry standard methodologies and assessing compliance of standard processes as it pertains to the handling of WC claims.
  • Understanding current claim status and developing appropriate and bold strategies on legacy claims (older than 12 months) to either bring claim to resolution or to minimize costs.
  • Monitoring adjuster activity to ensure strategies are implemented upon.
  • Evaluating reserve and settlement exposure and reviewing appropriateness of legal strategy.
This is an opportunity to use your Workers’ Compensation expertise to impact the results of a claim without all the administrative requirements of claim adjusting (investigating compensability, scheduling appointments, processing TTD, etc.). The ideal candidate would have experience in reviewing claim activity, identifying potential next steps, and making recommendations to progress the claim. The goal is to change the trajectory of the claim by developing pro-active strategies and ensuring those strategies are executed upon. While there are guidelines for the detailed processes associated with the project, you should also be able to think outside the box and operate as a consultant – an expert in your field. Our clients rely on consultants to impact their claims and make a difference, either through accelerating the closure timeline, savings on reserves, or by coaching newer adjusters.A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Minimum three years' experience with adjusting Workers' Compensation lost-time and litigated claims.
  • Well-versed in lost-time claims, to include high-dollar settlement negotiations, litigation strategy, and MSAs.

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
