DESCRIPTIONThe Senior HR Manager is part of the AWS PXT Team, partnering with leaders in the AWS Global Sales (AGS) Tech Organization. AGS Tech enables builders and supports customers through their GenAI and machine learning deployment journey, accelerates migration and partner solution adoption and enhances customer tech resilience and security.
In this role you will think big, deliver on large-scale initiatives, and lead through complex challenges. You will lead a team of HR employees and collaborate with other teams and leaders to drive scalable and sustainable solutions and results. You will look around corners to anticipate emerging talent trends, cultivate organizational capabilities, mitigate potential risks, and proactively partner with leaders to position the organization for future success.Key job responsibilities
  • Function as a thought partner and trusted advisor to the senior leadership team and translate business needs into high impact people strategies that improve innovation, speed of execution, employee engagement, and talent development.
  • Play a key role in enabling strategic workforce planning and drawing insights from data analytics, including proactively recognizing trends, developing actions to strengthen the talent base, driving organizational effectiveness, and attaining operational and structural efficiencies
  • Continuously see around corners to anticipate business and talent challenges and opportunities and make data-driven recommendations that support business growth and transformation.
  • Foster an inclusive culture through dynamic leadership, authentic communication, and mechanisms that support growth, accountability, and a sense of purpose and belonging.
  • Champion and orchestrate organizational transformation initiatives by developing compelling change narratives, building stakeholder alignment, and implementing systematic approaches that drive sustainable adoption while maintaining business momentum and employee engagement.
  • Partner seamlessly with Centers of Excellence and central HR functions to deliver integrated solutions, leveraging specialized expertise in talent management, compensation, talent acquisition and people analytics to create innovative programs that drive business performance while ensuring consistent and exceptional employee experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management or other related fields.
  • 10+ years of HR leadership experience within a rapidly scaling tech organization.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated achievements in coaching, influencing and problem solving with various levels of leadership
  • Broad experience and specific knowledge of organizational design, talent management, employee relations, compensation, employee engagement, learning, and performance management.
  • Ability to think strategically, and dive deep when needed to maintain high standards and drive results
  • Data driven with strong analytical skills and the ability to create the right people metrics and influence with data
  • Demonstrated ability to hire and develop great people.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to earn trust and communicate effectively
  • Experience working in Global team environment with multiple time zones

The base pay for this position ranges from $153,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $253,200/year in our highest geographic market.
