- Has demonstrated competency in the duties and responsibilities of a Jr. Drafter/Designer.
- Create drawings from sketches, actual parts, or instructions.
- Modify existing designs to meet specific work order requirements.
- Provide bills of materials to support the material and required labor for producing said parts.
- Process work orders from sales, including creating work order bills of materials, purchasing requisitions, required drawings, sourcing vendor-supplied instructions, and producing work order packages for production. Print and reproduce drawings for production.
- Create proposal drawings for visual assistance between sales and customers.
- Create computer programs for numerous computer-driven production tools.
- Observe and comply with all the provisions of the ISO 90001 QMS.
- Observe and comply with all safety rules, always including the use of PPE
- Associate degree (A. S.) from a two-year college or university or high school or post-secondary diploma in a related technical field and two years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
