- HRIS maintenance to include records, reports, documents, new hire, termination, status changes, etc.
- Responsible for FMLA, LOA, reasonable accommodations, and Employment Security Department requests by providing a timely response while adhering to compliance and qualifications
- Oversee and communicate team member benefits program and perks that contribute to team member satisfaction and retention
- Oversee and administer the Seasonal Leave of Absence program
- Assists in evaluation of reports, decision, and results of department in relation to established goals
- Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvement in efficiency of department and services performed
- Facilitate Suncadia Roots (New Hire Orientation) by assignment from HR Director and/or Talent Development Manager
- Coordination and execution of Talent Acquisition processes: opening jobs, processing offers and background checks, ensuring candidates are prepared for onboarding
- Partners as backup for People Services Specialist in all onboarding functions and processes
- Processes department billing, including employee housing
- Assists with development and maintenance of team member recognition programs
- Assists and completes department projects and initiatives as needed (for example; Job Description reviews, on-site hiring fairs, roster clean ups etc.)
- Maintains working relationships with team members by monitoring day-to-day implementation of policies and working conditions
- Prepared and able to drive company vehicles and/or personal vehicle for work purposes if needed
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management and/or combination of education and experience in the Human Resources field
- Minimum two-years previous experience in a human resources
- Knowledge of employment law and other government compliance regulations preferred
- Ability to objectively coach team members through complex, difficult and emotional issues
- The ability to research and analyze various different types of data information
- Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems by using judgement that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law
- Previous experience working with HRIS and other computer programs and software
- General understanding of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel
- Comfortable with presenting and public speaking
- Must have a valid driver’s license and meet company driving standards
