- Plan annual operating budget considering long and short-term goals, objectives and/or strategies.
- Plan and provide weekly, monthly and quarterly business forecasts vs. annual operating plan and actual results.
- Analyzes costs, operations, and/or forecast data to determine Branch's progress towards stated initiatives. (e.g. Productivity, Wheeltime implementation, technician recruitment and retention, etc.)
- Recommends and implements corrective action or procedural changes based on findings of above analyses. Monitors success of these changes to assure continuous improvement.
- Leads related change efforts at the local level.
- Reviews monthly operating results against forecast and annual operating plan, to identify areas of focus and improvement.
- Meet weekly with Sales Representatives to review sales activities and identify shortfalls and areas of opportunity to achieve top line revenue dollars.
- Make weekly joint sales calls with Sales Representatives to top or prospective customers.
- Ensures compliance efforts regarding safety, environmental and fiscal responsibilities and standards.
- Responsible to communicate branch objectives and goals and motivates employees to reach them.
- Resolves customer issues to the best possible outcome, maintain satisfied and loyal customers, as measured by Net Promoter scoring.
- Seeks and considers employee suggestions/recommendations, resolves employee issues to the best possible outcome as measured by employee engagement and retention.
- Maintains facility and equipment to corporate standards and specifications; negotiates with local providers of services and/or repairs to keep facility/equipment expenses within budgets.
- Recruits, promotes and/or hires qualified candidates for Branch job openings. Evaluates employees' performance and creates development plans to improve their performance in their current role or to prepare them for a future role. Terminates employees for cause or for unacceptable performance levels. Analyzes the need to add or replace positions, justifying these changes through the approval process.
- Promotes and maintains a workplace culture of engagement, communication, and respect.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Successful candidate should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Karmack, SXTrend inventory and order processing system, manufacturing software and Human Resource Systems.
