Experience & abilities you will need:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have 1 year experience working as a Laborer, preferably in an industrial, manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to work various shifts on short notice and overtime as required.
  • Ability to be at work on time as scheduled.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge.
  • The ability to read documents and instructions, in written form and electronically.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be in good physical condition. Position requires bending, kneeling, walking, standing, high degree of manual dexterity, coordination, and good eye/hand coordination. Position requires using catwalks, working at heights, climbing ladders and stairs.
  • Must be comfortable working in confined areas and spaces.
  • Position requires sweeping, shoveling, digging, painting, as well as other industrial labor duties.
  • Must be comfortable working in a dusty work environment, will be exposed to extreme temperatures (cold, hot, humid, windy, etc.).
  • Safety is a top priority, must follow all safety practices and wear personal protective equipment.
What you will do:Performs labor activities onsite at the direction of supervisor. Maintains visual surveillance of the equipment and process and reports conditions to the Supervisor that may be detrimental to the safety of the personnel, equipment, process, or environment. Assist with repairs or maintenance projects as required. Operate mobile and other equipment.
