Note: PSQ is currently recruiting for two Marketing Coordinator positions: one with a generalist focus and one with a social media specialization. This posting reflects the Social Media role, which carries a distinct set of responsibilities and a salary range aligned with those duties. Our turnkey approach blends creativity, precision, and community focus, making us a trusted partner for high-impact live experiences.We are seeking creative trailblazers who are tech-forward, culture-minded, and ready to make a tangible impact on Orange County communities through unforgettable experiences.Position SummaryWe are seeking a creative, execution-driven Marketing Coordinator to oversee all social media, email, SMS, and organic digital marketing initiatives across multiple brand accounts. This onsite role combines live event coverage with strategic in-office campaign management. The ideal candidate is tech- and AI-savvy, passionate about live events and community engagement, and skilled at driving measurable results through content, campaigns, and audience interaction.This position reports to the Sr. Director of Marketing and Sales.Key Responsibilities
  • Social Media & Content Strategy: Lead organic social media for multiple brands, develop content calendars, oversee creation of posts, stories, reels, and videos, and ensure brand consistency.
  • Event & Onsite Engagement: Capture and publish live content at events; manage real-time social interactions to boost engagement and attendance.
  • Influencer & UGC Management: Collaborate with influencers, ambassadors, and interns to create campaigns that amplify brand reach.
  • Email & SMS Marketing: Draft, segment, tag, and optimize email campaigns; manage SMS communications to drive ticket sales, promotions, and audience engagement.
  • Paid Social Campaigns: Collaborate with the Paid Media Lead to plan, execute, and optimize paid social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms, ensuring cohesion with organic efforts and maximizing ROI.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track, measure, and report performance of social, email, and SMS campaigns; provide actionable insights to improve engagement and conversions.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • 3+ years' experience in social media, digital marketing, and email/SMS campaigns (live events or music industry preferred).
  • Tech- and AI-savvy; experienced with Sprout, Hive, Facebook Business Manager/Marketing Partners, Pulsar, Brandwatch, and social listening.
  • Strong understanding of organic and paid campaign integration, influencer/UGC content, and SMS strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (or equivalent) and digital analytics tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication; able to present insights to leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts, campaigns, and deadlines.
  • Passion for live events, music, culture, and community engagement.
  • Results-driven, focused on engagement, ticket sales, and measurable impact.
  • Able to quickly create polished, platform-ready content.
  • Comfortable editing on both desktop and mobile, ensuring assets are optimized per platform requirements.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in digital/social media marketing for live events, entertainment, or consumer-facing brands.
  • Preferred Experience: Experience managing influencer/ambassador programs. Experience in marketing, event coordination, or related live events/concert industry.
  • Technical: Proficient in photo, video, and graphic editing tools (i.e., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite basics). Familiarity with CRM or sponsorship tracking tools; proficiency with Asana, Microsoft Office, Teams, and Excel preferred.
  • Bonus Skills: Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or other advanced editing tools.
Compensation & Schedule
  • Hourly Rate: $27 - $35/hour (DOE)
  • Schedule: Part-Time, non-exempt; some evenings/weekends required. Potential to transition to full-time.
  • Location: Irvine, CA; local travel and onsite event work required.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
  • Must be available to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules and operational needs.
  • This role is primarily based at the PSQ office in Irvine (Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.), depending on the event schedule with frequent travel to event sites required.
  • Must be able to walk, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods and navigate large event sites, including uneven terrain or temporary structures.
  • Regular exposure to outdoor conditions such as heat, cold, rain, and loud noise during events.
  • Occasionally required to lift or move items up to 25 pounds and may need to climb stairs depending on the event site.
  • Must be able to maintain composure, problem-solve effectively, and lead others in high-pressure or rapidly changing situations.
