
Scheduling Assistant II

- Assist schedulers with proactive customer contacts throughout the job scheduling process.
- Provide clear guidance for customers on pre-job requirements (e.g., inspection due dates, physical work to be completed before work is executed, setting up new meter accounts, etc.).
- Schedule customer appointments and issue reminders or confirmations.
- Maintain a log of all communications to report out weekly.
- Close work orders at the request of the scheduler.
- Act as the customer point of contact for select jobs.
- Schedule temporary interruptions.
- Monitor and update property damage claims (WATTS).
- Provide other scheduler assistance as needed, including creating work packets and processing bundled job cards.
- Remove job holds once verified.
- Create IVR appointments.
- Assist in work order closeout.
- Schedule temporary disconnects.
- Investigate property damage claims and schedule work if PPL liability is determined.
- This role is hybrid, with work from home on Mondays and Fridays at the Lehigh Service Center.
- This is NOT a driving role.
