Assistant Transportation Project Manager

• Engineering License and having a minimum of (5) years of hands-on experience overseeing the following projects: Highway / Roadway improvements, roundabouts, traffic signals, highway lighting, multi-use trails, sidewalks, transportation planning, streetscape, storm sewer systems, and culverts.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication.
• Supervise associates by providing ongoing direction specific to project tasks, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Assign work to staff & sub-contractors, monitor project budgets, review invoicing, establish and monitoring quality requirements.
• Provide mentorship and manage the performance activities of Staff Members
• Maintain communication with clients and regulatory agencies
• Identify project risks and monitor/mitigate risk throughout the project
• Prepare and submit proposals / contracts, determine project requirements, budget, deliverables, and scope based upon client requirements
• Follow the company's QA/QC Performance Standards
• Proficient in MS Office and computer-aided design software
