- Minimum of 2 years of Service Technician experience REQUIRED, preferably with BMW or a similar level German manufacturer, Luxury, Imports, or Domestic brands.
- BMW Certified level or higher is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- ASE Certifications required.
- Demonstrated dexterity, with excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Proficient mechanical and troubleshooting skills, coupled with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Exceptional customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
- Positive, friendly attitude, coupled with an eagerness to learn and improve.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment, fostering effective collaboration.
- Willingness to adapt to new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Execute vehicle repair and maintenance work outlined on repair orders with efficiency and precision, adhering to dealership and factory standards to drive customer loyalty.
- Maintain regular communication with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to efficiently manage production and ensure seamless customer communication.
- Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform authorized repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Conduct comprehensive multi-point inspections, offering appropriate recommendations to enhance the safety and reliability of customer vehicles.
- Document all work performed on each vehicle on the repair order with meticulous detail.
- Manage an inventory of normal Technician’s tools and participate in factory-sponsored training classes to stay abreast of factory technical bulletins.
