- Responsible for the entire sales pipeline from lead generation to customer acquisition to customer satisfaction.
- Manages the daily activities of the inside sales function.
- Prepares and monitor sales budget/forecast.
- Gathers market intelligence on competition and market trends; communicates information to sales associates and others as needed.
- Provides timely and accurate reports as required.
- Attends and participates in business/trade events as required.
- Work with marketing team to ensure website is up to date.
- Travel to visit customers as needed to acquire the business.
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in B2B and / or B2G sales. Preference will be given to those candidates who have RF signal chain design or application experience.
- Must show demonstrated ability to qualify, nurture, and negotiate deal sizes of at least $100,000 per order. Preference given to those candidates who can demonstrate higher level acumen in consistently closing deal sizes exceeding $1,000,000.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent CRM preferred.
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have strong understanding of electronic products, technologies and market trends.
- Preference will be given to candidates who can produce evidence of key customer contacts within the Aerospace and Defense sector.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have a strong understanding of Department of Defense contracting procedures and knowledge of the FAR and DFARS.
- Position will be considered hybrid (on site & work from home, but consistent travel to both customers and the sites will be expected. Travel expectation will be 25-50% dependent on demand.
