Digital Press Operator

• Operate Large Format Digital Press
• Conducts daily startup and maintenance including calibration, cleaning and quality assurance.
• Material handling including loading and offloading print media.
• RIP file processing using proprietary printer software.
• Monitor color consistency and work with Prepress Technician to adjust and recalibrate as necessary to ensure accuracy to standard and custom retains.
• Maintaining logs for ink batch and consumption.
• Maintaining logs for maintenance and repair.
• Maintaining inventory of consumables and wearable parts.
• Daily shutdown and maintenance.
• Preventative maintenance per manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical failures within digital press.
• Work with service technicians and supervisors on machine maintenance/repairs.
• Assists in other work areas if needed.

• Ability to read and monitor color.

• Organized.
• Digital and/or Commercial Print production experience a plus.
