- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with Renown Health’s clinical, operational, and digital transformation goals.
- Lead the design and governance of technology platforms, data integration, and application ecosystems across the enterprise.
- Collaborate with business and IT leaders to evaluate emerging technologies and guide investment decisions that support scalability, security, and innovation.
- Establish architecture standards, principles, and best practices to ensure consistency, interoperability, and performance across systems.
- Drive modernization initiatives including cloud adoption, data platform evolution, and digital health capabilities.
- Mentor, lead, and manage a team of enterprise and solution architects, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Define and implement enterprise architecture strategy aligned with system-wide goals and digital transformation initiatives.
- Establish and enforce architecture governance frameworks, standards, and policies to ensure system interoperability, scalability, and compliance.
- Lead strategic and operational planning for enterprise technology platforms, ensuring alignment with clinical, operational, and business priorities.
- Identify opportunities to leverage architecture to improve care delivery, operational efficiency, and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with IT, clinical, and business leaders to translate organizational needs into architectural solutions.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, and security requirements (e.g., HIPAA, CMS, HITRUST) across all architectural domains.
- Understand and integrate diverse business requirements across departments such as clinical operations, finance, marketing, and population health.
- Lead enterprise-wide assessments to identify opportunities for innovation, cost optimization, and improved service delivery.
- Engage stakeholders to define business and technical requirements for enterprise systems and integration strategies.
- Guide the development of reference architectures and solution blueprints that support data interoperability, cloud adoption, and digital health initiatives.
- Evaluate and prioritize architectural initiatives that support enterprise goals, including EHR modernization, cloud migration, and platform consolidation.
- Support the implementation of advanced analytics, AI, and data platforms by ensuring architectural readiness and alignment.
- Provide architectural oversight for real-time data delivery, clinical decision support, and digital front-door capabilities.
- Oversee the integration and lifecycle management of enterprise platforms, applications, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with IT operations, cybersecurity, and data governance teams to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing systems.
- Ensure architectural alignment with care models, value-based care initiatives, and population health strategies.
- Establish service-level agreements (SLAs), performance metrics, and governance processes to ensure continuous delivery and improvement of enterprise architecture services.

Requirements - Required and/or PreferredNameDescriptionEducation:Must have working-level proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking, to effectively communicate across clinical, operational, and technical teams. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, Engineering, or a related technical field is required. Master’s degree in Enterprise Architecture, Health Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.Experience:
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, IT strategy, or systems integration within the healthcare industry.
- At least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing enterprise architecture or technology transformation initiatives, with direct responsibility for cross-functional architecture teams.
- Proven experience in large, complex healthcare environments, including hospitals, ambulatory care, and health plan operations, with a deep understanding of clinical and administrative workflows.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman), cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), and interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, CMS, and security frameworks such as NIST or HITRUST.
- Demonstrated ability to align technology strategy with organizational goals, enabling digital transformation, operational efficiency, and improved patient outcomes.
