The Housekeeping Department plays a vital role in maintaining the resort’s elevated standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort.Job Summary:The House Attendant at Black Desert Resort is responsible for supporting the housekeeping team by maintaining cleanliness in public areas, restocking housekeeping supplies, and assisting with guest requests. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, this role ensures that all areas of the resort remain immaculately clean, organized, and well-stocked to provide an exceptional guest experience.Job Specifications:Onsite: Black Desert Resort
Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Part-Time Available
Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18/hr. This is the pay rate we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.Why Join Us:

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and guest corridors.
  • Assist room attendants by delivering and restocking linens, towels, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables from guest areas and housekeeping closets.
  • Respond to guest requests for additional room items, such as pillows, blankets, or toiletries.
  • Assist with deep cleaning tasks, including high-touch surfaces, glass doors, and furniture in public areas.
  • Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the housekeeping or engineering department.
  • Organize and maintain housekeeping storage areas to ensure efficiency and easy access to supplies.
  • Deliver laundry and fresh linens to housekeeping carts throughout the shift.
  • Safely operate resort vehicles to transport supplies and linens as needed.
  • Support the housekeeping team during high occupancy periods by assisting with room turnovers as needed.
  • Uphold Black Desert Resort’s cleanliness and service standards, ensuring a welcoming and pristine environment for guests.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Comfortable working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with housekeeping and resort staff.
  • Valid Utah driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.
