Benefits include, but are not limited to, tuition assistance, medical, dental, vision, disability, group life insurance, 401(k), profit sharing, paid holidays, and vacations.RESPONSIBILITIES:Under the general supervision of the Team Manager, the Distribution Technician is responsible for:Picking/packing/staging of all customer orders in a timely (measured through Labor Management System - LMS) and accurate manner while operating material handling equipment Powered Industrial Equipment (PIT) equipment.Operating a variety of material handling equipment including standup reach type equipment and/or sit-down fork trucks and a variety of industrial equipment including push-off machines, wrappers, pallet dispensers, and pallet flippers among others.Accurate data input and documentation.General warehouse duties include put-aways, line replenishment, wrapping, loading, and unloading.Actively participating in team meetings and special projects as required.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Material handling equipment or heavy industrial equipment experience.
  • Accurate clerical and numerical skills, ability to read, interpret and follow complex procedures.
  • Experience required with operating a variety of equipment including Powered Industrial Equipment (PIT) and battery charging system
  • Ability to work in an environment where performance against specific standards is constantly measured
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work overtime frequently or on short notice
  • Overtime is mandatory at times and regular attendance is required as essential job responsibilities for the position
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more on a continuous basis
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures
  • Ability to work in an environment with food-rated strong odors
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or equivalency
  • Desired minimum of 2 years experience in order selection, warehousing, or inventory
  • PC experience, SAP knowledge
