Our client is looking for a skilled Senior Control Engineer to join a high-performing automation team developing and supporting next-generation production equipment for cutting-edge industries including aerospace, AI, and automotive.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement control systems for new and existing in-house automation equipmentDevelop electrical schematics, specify components, and integrate machine-to-network communicationProgram and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, servo controls, vision systems such as Cognex, and robotics including 6-Axis and SCARALead or support automation projects from concept through deployment, balancing short-term support with long-term improvementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize performanceProvide hands-on support for control systems including VFDs, pneumatics, sensors, and motion controllersCreate documentation including BOMs, user manuals, wiring diagrams, and system layoutsMaintain compliance with electrical safety and industry standards including NFPA and OSHAContribute to capital equipment projects and research emerging technologies in automation and vision systemsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer EngineeringAt least 5 years of experience in manufacturing automationProficiency in PLC and HMI programming, robotics and servo control, and electrical designStrong background in troubleshooting and optimizing control systemsFamiliarity with CAD tools and standard office softwareExcellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-driven mindset
