Every day.CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Water/Wastewater Inspector to join our Infrastructure – Water Team at a client site in Clearwater, FL.YOUR IMPACTClean and safe water and wastewater management is vital for every community’s well-being. CHA delivers environmentally friendly and cost-effective water, wastewater and stormwater projects, handling every step from assessment to planning and design in these critical situations.The Water/Wastewater Inspector is responsible for observing and documenting the construction of sewer and water systems. This includes monitoring construction for conformance with contract documents and shop drawings/material submittals, recording field observations, and verifying construction conforms to quality control plans. Additionally, the Water/Wastewater Inspector prepares and maintains project records in accordance with company, client, and/or government standards.At CHA, you can build a career and find your passion across our diverse business lines and project teams.   • High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree in Engineering Science, Construction Management, or related technical field preferred
  • Valid US driver's license required
  • No prior experience required; however, prior construction or construction observation experience preferred
  • Able to comprehend construction plans and specifications
  • Understands and follows company standards, demonstrates knowledge of construction techniques, and assists mid-to-senior level team members with complex projects
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong mathematics skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Extensive travel may be required
