- Knowledge of HRIS systems, processes, administration, and release management.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Advanced proficiency in database management and security, as well as running SQL queries (to include but not limited to query optimization, backup/restore, and disaster recovery).
- Ability to stay ahead of HRIS and payroll technology evolution
- Organized and detail-oriented, skilled in managing diverse assignments and priorities in parallel
- Design and execution of system test plans including front-end and back-end unit and integration tests
- Able to express data through visualizations to tell a story
- Must be a results-oriented problem solver, capable of recommending and implementing solutions
- 3–4+ years of hands-on experience supporting and administering Pro and UKG Work Force Management (WFM)
- Demonstrated broad and strong background in UKG and related UKG modules (Pro, UTA and WFM strongly preferred).
- Knowledge of ServiceNow to respond to stakeholder communications
- Experience in overseeing HRIS operations with a focus on data accuracy, user assistance, and continuous system improvement
- Understanding of HR processes, data privacy regulations, and security protocols
- Experience in performing diagnostic tests and audits, as well as documenting processes.
- Ability to provide expert advice and guidance on HRIS strategy, implementation, and optimization.
- Certified UKG Implementation Credential (preferred, but not required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Document, track, and monitor problems and ensure a timely resolution via ServiceNow ticketing system
- Analyzing the business’s operations and computer systems to determine which software applications can improve efficiency.
- Providing recommendations on upgrading existing systems or installing new ones.
- Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulations. This includes data entry, maintenance, audits, backup/restore and disaster recovery.
- Conduct research on product updates, services, protocols, and standards in support of UKG.
- Ensuring data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to generate reports, analyzing data to identify trends, and providing insights to support HR decision-making.
- Liaising with vendors, IT and HR/Payroll departments keeping abreast with software upgrades and functional improvements of current software portfolio and industry trends
- Researching software applications that will help the company succeed
- Identifying opportunities to improve HRIS processes and systems and participating in system upgrades and implementations.
- Contributing to the creation and maintaining of HRIS Roadmap and modernization plan
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of HRIS network hardware and software.
- Reporting to stakeholders, management, and end-users on the progress of operational problems
- Organizing meetings with stakeholders to discuss the functional aspects of their applications.
- Demonstrating sound project management principles and leveraging best practice techniques.

- Maintaining and updating the UKG system, including user accounts, profiles, and security access and administration.
- Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights (furnish the required reports to assist with internal control, external auditors and cybersecurity reviews).
- Configuring, customizing, and troubleshooting UKG, including routine upgrades, updates and integrations with other systems, while identifying opportunities for system optimizations.
- Develop and enforce standards and policies for system access, user permissions, and security controls to safeguard HRIS data integrity.
- Oversee and monitor new software applications and hardware (time clocks) deployments to ensure seamless integration and prevent interoperability issues.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to HRIS software and deployed field devices to minimize system downtime.
- Analyze, transform, and import batch data into the HRIS system accurately and efficiently based on business requests.
- Using software applications in a way that is consistent with established protocols and can be easily used by others.
- Maintain high availability and uptime of HRIS platforms and all associated integrations/interfaces to support uninterrupted HR operations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge base resources for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams, enhancing their ability to resolve user issues efficiently.
- Coordinate with HRIS Vendor to perform disaster recovery exercises on the annual basis in coordination with KNA CISO’s department.
- Remain current regarding emerging technologies and security issues. Evaluate or create training materials to improve employee awareness and knowledge of these systems so they can use these computer systems more effectively.
- Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive user documentation and reference materials to support HRIS users in effective system utilization.
- Create and maintain Training Plans and Training Material for area of responsibility in conjunction with other departments
- Support with the training of new employees on how to use HRIS applications.
- Collaborate with the internal IT team to support the development, maintenance, and annual testing of the Business Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans, ensuring HRIS system resilience.
- Partner closely with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to implement, maintain, and regularly review security controls aligned with industry best practices and compliance requirements for HRIS data protection.
- Engage regularly with IT leadership, executive leadership, and vendors to assess technology needs, recommend HRIS-related solutions, and foster strong collaborative partnerships to support organizational goals.
- Drug and alcohol screening: Employment contingent upon passing pre-employment drug and alcohol screen. Also, contingent upon receiving a favorable background check. Must pass a physical examination.
