The Center for Courageous Kids (CCK) is a world-class medical camp where children with serious illnesses and their families come to grow in confidence, gain independence, and meet their new best friend. Since opening its gates, CCK has welcomed over 43,000 campers from 46 states and 13 countries, offering transformative experiences through horseback riding, boating, fishing, rock climbing, bowling, and more-all without limitations or barriers. And most importantly, no camper or family is ever charged to attend.We are seeking a visionary Camp Director to lead the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of our camp programs. This role is central to ensuring that every camper and family experiences the magic of CCK in a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Education, Social Work, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in camp management or a similar leadership role, preferably in a medical or special needs setting.
Proven track record of successful program development, staff management, and budget oversight.
Passionate about working with children with medical challenges and their families.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and public speaking abilities.
Highly organized, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the camp schedule.
CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications (or willingness to obtain).
