Job Category: Clinical ServicesJob Description:Position: Certified Nurses AidePosition 1: Every Other Weekend, 1st ShiftWeek 1: * Sat / Sun on- 7am-3pm*Week 2: * Sat / Sun offPosition 2: Full Time, 7am-3pmStarting Pay: Minimum of $20.50/hour, increases based on Years Certified. Position earns weekend shift differentials.Qualifications: * Successful completion of a State approved nursing assistant training program. Registration with State of Connecticut registry required.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
  • Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred.
  • Ability to legibly track and document care given to each resident.

  • Gives treatments, performs tests, carries out procedures and collects specimens as instructed.
  • Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated.
  • Transfers, transports, and escorts residents as needed.
  • Answers signal lights promptly.
  • Changes bed linens, makes beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly.
