We are currently searching for a Test Technician with 0-2+ years of experience for a contract-to-direct opportunity in the Romeo, MI area. You will have automotive, motorcycle, or tractor mechanic skills or experience testing automotive components.Responsibilities:
  • Assists in the construction of basic lab apparatus or test equipment under the guidance of a lead technician or supervisor
  • Assists in the preparation, set up, and performance of tests
  • Perform laboratory tests and measurements of components, selecting and properly connecting test instrumentation systems to obtain specified test data with supervision as required
  • Perform tests according to established procedures with supervision as required
  • Ensures that laboratory areas and evaluation areas are kept clean and free of all safety hazards
  • Conducts all tests in a professional and safe manner
  • Advanced technical skills
  • Should show eagerness to learn
  • Able to grasp fundamental testing principles
  • Strong "hands-on" skills
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Computer proficiency
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
Education:
  • High School Diploma, Associate or Trade School degree, or equivalent experience
