The STS Production Control Planner will handle a wide variety of low volume, hi-reliability products to schedule, to specification. This position will report to the General Manager STS division and directs the complete range of the company's semiconductor environmental test, product up screening and assembly operations. 'STS operations are fully vertically integrated, offering low-volume, package assembly and test services for high-reliability components from wafer/die processing, through to board assembly. STS has proprietary environmental test capabilities and advanced specialty mechanical engineering skills. The facility operates under an AS9100 accreditation and is DMEA certified as a trusted source. The Production Control Planner will also have responsibility for managing projects to deliverance, business process controls, materials procurement, production control, production engineering, and sub-contracted services.Areas of responsibility:
- Track all work orders
- Support inside sales
- Monitor all movements of units/devices
- Work with cross functional areas daily
- Ensure by EOM all units are on time for delivery
- Daily and Weekly updates to the GM to meet the monthly revenue
- Strong interpersonal skills
- ·Timely movement and management of production Work Orders (WO), between work cells, to ensure we start and complete WOs on time to meet Planning and Operational objectives.
- Review WO plans and manage release schedules to prevent downstream production issues due to capacity constraints.
- Drive root cause analysis for non-conformances that delay WOs, manage and update new milestone dates, and by attending MRT and collaborating with appropriate stakeholders to resolve issues and minimize schedule impact to WOs.
- Communicate, regularly, Work-in-Process (WIP) status and any impact of delayed work orders, real-time, to Order Management, Program Management, and Planning.
- Drive JOLT and Internet Scheduling Tools
- Support Customer calls and visits, as necessary.
- Review planned WOs, prior to production release, to ensure readiness for production including: material quantity; documentation, equipment, and process release status, and resource availability.
- Support Inside Sales team for quote and proposal generation
- Manage the movement of units/devices across each group; must be present on the production floor as need.
- Communicate professionally but assertively with PMs, ISRs, Production, and Assembly teams regarding any issues or delay.
- Ensure on-time and scheduled deliveries to customers. Maintain all work orders on track to meet delivery schedules, and implement recovery plans in case of delays.
- Provide production status updates and ship date commitments to the GM and PMs (ISRs if needed too).
- Be actively involved and take initiative when needed.
- Utilize Internet tool to maintain schedules and WIP tracking
- Ensure timely execution of tasks and avoid last-minute efforts at month-end.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years related experience
- Working knowledge of ERP and MRP Systems.
- Working knowledge of the Hi Reliability OSAT Operations
- Expandables software & QPulse
- Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
- Demonstrated success handling multiple priorities and multi-tasking
- (Due to export control/trusted supplier rules) must be a citizen of the US and willing to apply for US Government Clearance levels as required;
