Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the Machining Department supporting the production of high-quality metal parts. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Machine OperatorLocation: Cincinnati, OH1st Shift: 5:00am- 1:30pm. M-F
2nd Shift: 3:15pm - 3:00am, M - ThWhat's the Job?
  • Operate various milling, fabrication, and turning machinery and equipment to manufacture parts to required specifications.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy to the required specifications and complete assigned inspection and job traveler paperwork.
  • Ensure finished parts move to the next operation upon completion.
  • Inform the Machining Lead of any problems or improvements in the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices including cleaning the work area and inspection equipment.
What's Needed?
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math skills and basic blueprint reading.
  • Basic understanding of machine programming and ability to make tool offsets.
  • Familiarity with SDS sheets and basic machine shop safety.
  • Ability to stand for at least 8 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds.
