- Solves a range of straightforward problems related to logistics.
- Analyzes logistics patterns and implements appropriate shipping strategies based upon standard procedures and protocols.
- Prepares documentation for all shipment forms and all modes of freight.
- Coordinate with sales, operations and shipping companies to resolve any issues.
- Assist with SAP WM cockpit, cycle counting and other warehouse type transactions when required.
- Prepare daily workload in AMS and OE areas for the warehouse associates and distribute to the stockroom for picking.
- Create and maintain documentation manual and instructions for the warehouse.
- Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department as well as throughout the KBRNA SBU's.
- Maintains a neat, safe, and healthy working environment.
- Follows all company policies, procedures, practices, and standards of conduct as outlined by Knorr Bremse & KBRNA manuals.
- Perform all steps necessary to prepare documentation for international export shipments adhering to all to government regulations as it pertains to the export functions.
- Monitor and audit international direct (drop) shipments. Acts as a liaison between suppliers, KBRNA buyers and KBRNA sales department to ensure smooth material and paperwork flow.
- Perform all steps for maintenance of product trade data in SAP.
- Assist with material review for product tariff classifications, broker/forwarder correspondence, for preparing USMCA certificates. For customers, preparing certificates of origin and other FTA documentation, and various import/export operational tasks.
- Initiate and submit resolutions to US/Canada entry discrepancies, to include amending documentation for proper application of duty charges.
- Performs any additional assignments directed by management.
- Must be able to comply with quality, product safety, and HSE rules and regulations. Be energy conscious, if applicable.
- Must understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.
- Must understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.
- Must understand, support and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures and instructions.
- Must understand and support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the goal tree.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SAP (PP, MM, and WM modules).
- Proficient in all Microsoft office products.
- Ability to work in a cross functional team
- Ability to meet the knowledge, skills, abilities set forth in the job description.
- Effective leadership skills in a multifunctional, demanding environment
- Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes

- 2 - 5 Years of Experience
- Associate Degree in Business or Materials Management
- SAP
