You will also lead a team of IT Sourcing Leads to deliver Cloud solutions, mainframe and distributed infrastructure, and professional services to support the group.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Conducts all phases in the development of complex and strategic acquisitions of third-party/affiliate solutions to include consulting on statements of work, creating requests for proposals, identification of qualified suppliers, proposal evaluations and negotiation of pricing, services, and contract terms.
2. Applies advanced knowledge in the design of complex and strategic sourcing plans and solutions to achieve client's strategy through deployment of third-party solutions.
3. Interprets the provisions and terms of all contract risks with a focus on complex and significant risk contracts that can hinder the Enterprise's ability to execute on the mission, damage reputation, and/ or impair financial stability of the Enterprise such that capital strength or liquidity is impacted.
4. Collaborates with Legal and other subject matter experts as needed to interpret and ensure accuracy of contracts and resolve escalated issues.
5. Provides client consultation, on highly complex and critical actions, evaluates client requirements, dependencies and advises in the development of contract specifications to achieve pre-established savings, quality, and risk/cost avoidance targets.
6. Influences business leaders on third-party utilization to achieve overall operational and strategic objectives.
7. Engage internal stakeholders and suppliers to bring greater value, better performance and favorable terms with suppliers delivering IT solutions.
8. Leads team and guides fellow sourcing and procurement staff to ensure goals are achieved.
9. Utilizes significant background experience in Procurement Strategy and planning to develop complex sourcing strategies.
10. Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in concert with internal experts.QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2. 8 years of experience in procurement strategy, to include planning, sourcing, and/or solutioning, to include 4 years of experience negotiating and authoring IT contracts, terms and conditions, and pricing.
3. Ability to:
  • Create successful procurement engagements focused on delivering business value.
  • Lead strategic sourcing methods and drive process efficiency.
  • Communicate to all levels of the organization.
  • Apply strategic sourcing principles to IT procurement.
  • Lead cross-functional teams or projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in the procurement of IT software, hardware, and professional services categories.
2. Advanced skills with industry standard analytics platforms/ERP (Workday, PowerBI, Excel, etc.).
3. Experience leading RFP process (helping generate requirements with the business, evaluation criteria, evaluation of proposals, negotiation, and award).
4.
