Description :JOB SUMMARYSalary range: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour.Work location: Hybrid; Regularly reports to properties within assigned Oakland, CA portfolio.The Central Support Associate is responsible for the accounting operations and the upkeep and maintenance of resident records at their assigned properties. They are responsible for maintaining accurate resident records, including posting payments, generating and posting delinquency notices, communicating with residents regarding the status of their account, processing evictions, processing Deposit Accounting, and other administrative and customer service duties in accordance with Holland Partner Group’s Core Values.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Track and monitor resident delinquency for assigned properties.
  • Regularly reports to properties within their assigned portfolio to perform essential tasks.
  • Proactively communicate with residents with outstanding balances, consistently documenting all correspondences.
  • Post resident payments in a timely manner and maintain accurate resident ledgers, including posting charges/credits.
  • Generate, mail, and post appropriate notices for residents with an outstanding balance, in accordance with the local and federal laws.
  • Complete monthly delinquency status report for assigned properties.
  • Compile regional delinquency status report and distribute to Operational Leaders.
  • Process and support legal proceedings for unpaid rent and non-monetary evictions for residents that meet the criteria, in accordance with local and federal laws.
  • Gather required documents and process resident Statements of Deposit Accountings (SODA’s) in accordance with local laws.
  • Manage missing documents required for collections agency.
  • Complete Accounting Month End process for assigned properties.
  • Consolidate property delinquency reports for all properties within assigned region and distribute to Operational Leaders monthly.
  • Support and train new hire and newly promoted Assistant Managers on various accounting processes and best practices.
  • Complete routine lease file audit efforts and due diligence lease file audits as assigned.
  • Review various compliance reports and support Property Manager’s with taking corrective action.
  • Maintain property service contracts in the Property Management Software for assigned properties.
  • Routinely audit the Lease Documents dashboard and follow up with residents that are in ‘Pending Signature’ status.
  • Represent Holland Partner Group in a professional manner at all times.
  • Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible.
JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Some college and/or associate degree preferred.Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience in a multi-family property management and/or accounting position required. Three years of customer service experience required. Previous experience as an Assistant Property Manager strongly preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Attendance: This full-time position requires regular and punctual attendance compliant with the schedule set to meet company needs. Additional hours or overtime may be required.This position also requires:
  • Same day travel within region.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
  • Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.
