- Supplier Assessment:
- Drive/Support Supplier Identification and down selection.
- Drive/Support completion of Supplier Audits and Technical Evaluations.
- Drive/Support completion of NDA/PIA negotiations.
- Lead Request for Quotation (RFQ) package creation (i.e., draft SAP requisition for RFQ including all technical and quality requirements).
- Lead Supplier Design Proposal / Compliance Matrix review meetings.
- Supplier Oversight:
- Create the Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for use in design option selection or validation of cost and schedule.
- Execute Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance (QA) Technical Witness and Hold Points.
- Support the project management team to interface with Supplier Quality support organizations.
- Supplier Development & Management:
- Create Agendas and Lead Kick-Off meetings with Suppliers.
- Conduct regularly scheduled meetings (e.g., bi-weekly, weekly, etc.) with Supplier and Westinghouse Project Support Team Members.
- Manage/Drive Westinghouse Project Support Team Execution.
- Manage execution of required Supplier QA Witness and Hold Points.
- Hold pre-job briefs and/or kick-off meetings for important/critical PO manufacturing activities.
- Drive/Support Purchase Order (PO) Change Notices.
- Provide periodic Project Schedule Updates.
- Provide periodic Customer Status Updates.
- Ensure all required Supplier PO scope is complete, including fabrication, testing and documentation.
- Ensure the Westinghouse Quality Release (QR) has been completed to support shipment.
- Ensure the QR and associated Quality Assurance Data Package (QADP) have been archived in PRIME.
- Send QR/QADP to the site or customer (as defined by the project) after it has been archived in PRIME to aid in receipt and turnover of equipment.
- Work with Westinghouse Logistics to arrange for shipment. Complying with applicable procedures and standards and ensuring all standards and processes are adequately described in Level 2 and 3 procedures.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferred in the Power Generation or Nuclear Industries but could be in any of the following industries: Oil & Gas, Pipelines, Refineries, Offshore Oil Production Platforms, Ship Building, Manufacturing Plants, Supply Chain, etc.
- Knowledge of programming software is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to travel to support emergent project issues/supplier development.
