BLH Technologies, Inc., an award-winning company specializing in public health, research, and communications solutions for Federal and commercial clients, is seeking an Evaluation Specialist (ES) to support Federal clients, including those within the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Administration for Children and Families (ACF). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health, research methodology, and program evaluation. They will play a key role in assessing the effectiveness and impact of federal programs and initiatives, ensuring that interventions are evidence-based/informed and contribute to meaningful outcomes.Key Responsibilities:· Design and implement comprehensive evaluation plans for public health programs and interventions.· Develop and test data collection tools, including surveys, interviews, and focus group guides, to gather relevant information from stakeholders.· Collect, manage, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data using appropriate statistical methods and software.· Interpret evaluation findings and provide actionable recommendations to inform programmatic decisions and improve outcomes.· Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate evaluation activities into program planning and implementation processes.· Communicate evaluation findings through written reports, presentations, and other dissemination channels to diverse audiences, including policymakers, funders, and community stakeholders.Qualifications:· Master's degree in public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related field.· Demonstrated experience in designing and conducting evaluations of public health programs or interventions.· Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research methods, data analysis, and statistical software (e.g., SAS, SPSS, STATA, NVivo).· Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse stakeholders.· Proven ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.· Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in public health practice and research.Preferred Qualifications:· Knowledge of implementation science and behavior change principles and frameworks.· Experience conducting mixed-methods evaluations.· Familiarity with health equity frameworks and social determinants of health.· Experience in government contracting.· Knowledge about the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) clearance process.· Experience mentoring and training others on evaluation methods.BLH is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
