The Billing Coordinator must have excellent problem identification and resolution skills, with an investigative nature. The ideal candidate should be well rounded, with the ability to work individually as well as in a team environment. Additionally, the Billing Coordinator must be extremely familiar with standard accounting controls and adept at understanding varied financial data. On a daily basis, you will be responsible for handling account maintenance and support to include: refunds, various discount variations, customer complaints, Invoice tracking, editing and payment applications. The primary responsibilities for this role are to maintain accurate reporting of billing data, provide prompt resolution of issues and to implement procedures to minimize future issues to customers as set out by management.Responsibilities:
  • Use and maintain MS Excel worksheets to track productivity and completion of assigned projects and tasks.
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices and resolve any discrepancies
  • Manage and process requests that are submitted from other departments for refunds, discounts and review.
  • Meet all Productivity, Quality, and Efficiency standards set forth by leadership.
  • Analyze work assigned and report opportunities for quality & process improvement.
  • Review Credit Card Exceptions report and categorize the credit card declines into action-specific buckets.
  • Review ACH Exceptions report and categorize the ACH declines into action-specific buckets.
  • Review Check Exceptions report and categorize the Check Declines into action-specific buckets.
  • Investigate the Credit Card Charge-Backs and perform timely responses to Credit Card Institutions.
  • Maintain department Quality and Handle Time SLA’s.
  • Other duties, miscellaneous responsibilities and special projects as needed.

  • High School diploma.
  • Minimum of 3 years of data entry experience is required
  • Must be able to build and maintain professional relationships during a highly stressful and fast-paced environment.
  • Must demonstrate strong communication/negotiation skills both verbally and written.
  • Feel comfortable working in an autonomous environment where you are expected to resolve customer’s issues on your own.
  • Deadline & detail oriented.
  • Great organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Heroku/Salesforce a plus
  • Ability to think logically when working on customer accounts.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills are required to perform daily tasks.
