JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Radiology Technologist demonstrates progressive knowledge and sense of responsibility in the daily operations of a Radiology area. They operate a variety of x-ray equipment to perform routine radiographs and advanced fluoroscopic procedures according to established practices under the direction of a Radiologist, Supervisor, and Lead Technologists. Assists in the clinical instruction of radiography students and other personnel as needed. Maybe required to work a variety of shifts, at multiple campuses, weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotational basis.
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology approved by CAHEA/JERCT. ARRT certified and is Licensed with the State of Vermont.
EXPERIENCE:
Has 6 months progressive experience as a Radiology technologist and has successfully completed all Radiology competencies.
