Together, let's advance the world of minimally invasive care.Job DescriptionPrimary Function of Position:The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Technical Operations engineering within a regulated environment, support small to mid-sized development teams, and success in supporting datacenter and cloud infrastructure for dynamic environments.Roles and Responsibilities:Focusing on infrastructure administration, automation, cloud integration, and execution of infrastructure as code methodologies. This position will work closely with developers, DBAs, QA, and project managers throughout the software lifecycle in delivering best in class technical infrastructure to support external product delivery
  • Participate in the development, execution, and support of Datacenter Infrastructure operations.
  • Administering and troubleshooting blade, rackmount and virtual machines (VMWare)
  • Experience with Administering and Windows OS.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and updates including OS patching and HW replacement.
  • Automation (Infrastructure as code, patching, release management, etc.)
  • Establish monitoring and infrastructure health reporting for advancement of self-healing infrastructure principles.
  • Enhance/extend a configuration/deployment/monitoring framework in partnership with Site Reliability Engineer(s)
  • Support cloud environment on Azure
  • Administer the Microsoft Active Directory Domains and GPO configurations.
  • Interact with internal customers and development teams to gather and define requirements and document architecture.
  • Follows a formal design process using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and adheres to regulations, standards, and established guidelines for development and delivery within area of responsibility.
  • Support service-oriented architecture (SOA).
  • Provides off-hours support for critical applications as required.
QualificationsSkills/Job Requirements:In order to adequately perform the responsibilities of this position the individual must:
  • Team player and good mentor for junior members of the team
  • Minimum 8-10 years Tech Ops, Systems/Infrastructure Administration, Datacenter Operations or related engineering experience
  • Hands-on experience with supporting cloud environments on Azure
  • Experience with capacity planning processes supporting on-premises & public cloud deployment models
  • Demonstrated experience working in a multi-tier architecture environment.
  • Experience in systems automation, virtualization, orchestration, deployment, and implementation
  • Experience in scaling distributed data systems, deploying and managing software in production environments.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming languages and/or scripting language (i.e. Python, PowerShell, Bash)
  • Proficiency in Ansible, Terraform, or other configuration management and centralized configuration tools
  • Demonstrated experience in networking, subnets, stateful firewalls, ports & protocols, Windows Firewall, IPTables, and CIDR notation
  • Technical troubleshooting skills a must
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail; mission-critical production support experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience in working effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Containers - working knowledge of containers is plus.
  • Experience with Linux OS, RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, RedHat satellite experience is plus.
  • Experience with PKI Infrastructure and administration is a plus.
  • Experience implementing Security Best Practices
  • Experience with Enterprise tools like Splunk, Nagios, ELK etc.
  • Minimum B.S in Computer Science or related technical major, or commensurate experience
