About the RoleAs an Express Technician, you'll play a key role in performing routine maintenance and general repairs on a variety of vehicles. You'll be responsible for ensuring high-quality service while adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards. Precision, efficiency, and customer satisfaction are at the core of this role.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesVehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Perform oil changes, battery checks, tire rotations, air filter replacements, and fluid top-offs.
  • Conduct routine service inspections and complete fluid flushes as needed.
  • Check and adjust tire pressure and install new oil drain plugs and filters.
Inspection & Diagnostics
  • Conduct Multi-Point Inspections (MPIs) for every vehicle.
  • Record inspection findings via video and explain completed work and identified issues to customers.
  • Identify systems or components requiring further diagnostics or repair.
Shop Collaboration & Communication
  • Work as part of a team to prepare and service vehicles efficiently.
  • Communicate with the parts department to ensure timely access to necessary components.
  • Adhere to all safety and environmental protocols.

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • ASE certifications are ideal.
  • Strong automotive background
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Basic mathematical aptitude
  • Ability to understand and apply common sense.
  • Clean driving record
  • Willing to submit to a drug screen.
