This role will ensure products meet industry standards as well as customers application, reliability, and quality expectations. Sustaining Engineer-I will be working with other members to develop strategies for rationalizing and reducing costs to remain competitive in the market while meeting the customers needs.Essential Responsibilities:
- An integral part of product assurance team to meet reliability, and quality expectations.
- A productive member of a team in developing strategies to remain competitive in the market while meeting the customers needs.
- Design, test and implement practical engineering components used for customer applications.
- Assist customers with application specific design questions and analysis.
- Use effective negotiation skills, work to achieve project outcomes.
- Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical Preferred)
- Ability to collaborate and work as a team in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and 3D Software (Solidworks Preferred)
- Strong Project and Time Management Skills
- Analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Openings to Travel when necessary (up to 20%)
